The World Rallycross Championship first round in Norway has been canceled, and the Montalegre circuit in Portugal is back on the schedule as the season finale.
The Norway Round was originally scheduled to start the World RX event on the second weekend of June, but this season the first round will be held under the leadership of the new commercial rights holder Rallycross Promotion GmbH- on July 23- 24th in Barcelona, Spain.
All parties have seriously tried to find a solution, but strict border restrictions and the lack of a suitable alternative date made it impossible to hold the event in 2021, "Series officials said in a statement to cancellation of Norwegian rounds.
The Holjes in Sweden was pinned on its traditional first weekend in July, but the reorganization of the calendar was postponed until the end of August, two weeks before the French round in Loheac, to allow fans to attend the event, a goal for all rounds for the new promoter.
