The second edition Spa World Rallycross of Benelux on the Circuit of Spa-Francorchamps was canceled. It was initially planned for May and then postponed for the first time in October to November 21-22. Finally, Spa World Rallycross of Benelux will not take place this year.

The current health situation in Belgium and across Europe has forced the organizers to make this joint decision. The Spa-Francorchamps circuit, IMG, and FIA pay great attention to the expansion or development of the pandemic and extreme tensions in hospitals. Also, various restrictive measures recently adopted by some governments, such as travel-related restrictions, have made the Benelux Spa World Rally extremely complicated.

CEO Nathalie Maillet: This decision relates to special circumstances, even if it makes all the teams working hard for the second edition feel sad, and due to the deterioration of the public health situation, it was announced last week that it will be held behind closed doors in this situation. AS our priority to protect the health and safety of everyone.

However, it has only been postponed to another time, and we will provide you with a better version next year.
